Africa- Asia Development Relief Foundation is a non- profit organisation established in South Korea in 1994.
ADRF Singapore, was established in March 2014 as an independent associate of the ADRF International chapter.
Our mission is to be a donor country, providing supplementary donations, to help disadvantaged children and youths in Singapore and other ADRF affiliated countries.
ADRF Singapore has already undertaken projects in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos and Philippines.

ADRF SINGAPORE HISTORY
Welcome to Africa-Asia Development Relief Fund ADRF Singapore!
OUR MISSION
To be a donor country to help disadvantaged children and youths in Singapore and other South East Asian countries, as well as in Asia and Africa.
OUR HISTORY
Formed as an independent associate of ADRF International, ADRF Singapore started when a young, lean and hungry lady, an Accountancy Graduate from University of Mongolia asked for donation at a Chinatown Food Centre, Singapore in March 2014.
She met Mr. Alex Tan and his friends who were having lunch there. She approached them for some donation and they were impressed by her determination and sincerity as she returned with a receipt, after disappearing a few minutes with the money given to her. They decided to invite her to their lunch and let them know more about ADRF.
From then on, Mr Alex Tan has been helping the ADRF nations and established ADRF Singapore privately and conducting activities with the proper protocol of the Singapore Government.
WHAT WE DO
ADRF Vision: We, at ADRF, dream of the day when underprivileged children in Africa and Asia will escape from the chain of poverty and reach their dreams through education.
HOPE=EDUCATION
ADRF Supports basic education and character building education for children and adolescents, so they can grow to become the leaders who can help their countries escape from poverty.
HOW WE HELP
The children can dream of a better future through the seeds of hope that we share.
With its slogan “HOPE = EDUCATION”, ADRF supports schooling and humanistic education for African and Asian children in need.
We will continue to be there for the underprivileged, to cherish and to realize their dreams of the future.
ADRF International is now implementing various projects to support education in local communities in Ethiopia, Indonesia, Nepal, Laos, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Mongolia
Besides Singapore, ADRF Singapore is now also supporting Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Philippines.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT ADRF Laos receiving suplementary support to ADRF Singapore Donors
In the remote mountains of Laos, a group of children faced harsh winters, often shivering in the cold with empty stomachs. Their school, nestled among the hills, was a simple wooden structure, but it held the promise of a better future. Many of these children had to walk for hours just to reach it, eager to learn despite the biting chill.
ADRF Laos stepped in to support this mountain school, providing warm meals and essential supplies to help the children thrive. With the backing of ADRF Singapore, they organized fundraising efforts to gather donations, aiming to improve the school's facilities and offer free education.
Thanks to these generous contributions, the children received warm clothing, nutritious meals, and new learning materials. Each donation not only brightened their days but also ignited hope for a brighter tomorrow. Together, ADRF Laos and Singapore are creating pathways out of poverty for these resilient children, helping them dream bigger than their circumstances.
In the mountainous regions of Laos, poor children struggle with limited access to clean water, warm clothing, and sufficient food. ADRF Laos, supported by ADRF Singapore, provides vital assistance by delivering clean water solutions, nutritious meals, and warm clothing.These efforts not only meet immediate needs but also empower children to pursue their education and foster hope for a better future.

“ The Walk to Health” was organised by ADRF Philippines and ADRF Singapore at Sitio Cabiao Elementary School. Today we’re able to visit Sitio Cabiao despite a looming typhoon. We’re so grateful to Sir Ponciano Valderama the school head, together with his faculty and staff for their warm welcome to ADRF staff. We want to thank our kind and generous sponsors who are always donating to the children needs. Your generosity helps the children in their daily living and motivates them to do well in school with the hope that education is the key to success. Today we gave them essentials to help them protect themselves from COVID-19 that is still continuing to spread here in the Philippines. We are also concerned with their health that’s why we gave them slippers to wear when they’re going to school and water tumblers to hydrate themselves. With this donation drive of ADRF we are focusing on the proper hygiene and cleanliness of the children. We always believe in this quotation “Health is Wealth” so we need to take care of our body. October 28, 2022

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT ADRF Indonesia receiving support to ADRF Singapore Donors
After a five-year delay due to COVID-19, an earthquake, and a tsunami in Tanjung Lesung, ADRF Singapore successfully launched New Hope Classes (NHC) at Darma Cahaya Purnama village school in October this year. Located four hours from Jakarta, the school now offers daily NHC sessions to 150 students. This initiative aims to improve education for Indonesian children who have faced immense challenges. The program marks a significant step forward for the community after years of setbacks.
ADRF Tanjung Lesung Indonesia, our mission is to elevate the educational environment for children by improving school facilities, providing essential learning materials, and ensuring access to clean water sources. By enhancing these critical resources at Darma Cahaya Purnama village school, we aim to create a more conducive learning atmosphere, fostering both academic and personal growth. This initiative will significantly improve the quality of education and daily life for students, empowering them to achieve a brighter future despite past challenges.

In the mountains of Luang Prabang, Laos, December brings cold temperatures, with the mercury dropping to an average of 14°C and peaking at just 26°C during the day. For many children living in this region, warmth isn't a given—especially for those from poor families. One in five people here lives in poverty, and for children, the challenges are even greater. Imagine being a child born deaf in a poor Laotian family—often hidden away, isolated from society, or sent to work in the fields instead of going to school.
But there's hope. With your support, ADRF Laos is working to provide these children with more than just warmth—they’re giving them a chance at education, a future, and a life outside the cycle of poverty.
Through donations, we can provide much-needed winter clothing and resources to ensure these children stay warm and have access to the education they deserve.

"HOPE=EDUCATION"
ADRF builds and manages an educational institution for isolated children in poverty who cannot otherwise get the benefits of education. We try to provide a better educational environment with management support for each school, as well as introducing scholarship programs for all students.
Also, we support them by operating management programs for the educational institution which is now under difficult situation, including enlarging a building and repairing all facilities for the children to study in a better environment.

WHERE WE SERVE
ADRF PHILIPPINES Umbrella and Raincoat Project
As the rainy season is now approaching, we aim to give our HOPE class students raincoats and umbrellas that they can use during the rainy days.
Due to poverty in the countryside, our students don't have protection against rain whenever they go outside of their house or help their parents on the farm.
Through the help of ADRF, we are able to provide some protection for them against this rain.
Big thanks to our generous sponsor from ADRF Singapore who donated this wonderful blessing to our
HOPE class students.
They can now be protected and free from cold and wet during this rainy season.
